Matador Resources is an independent US oil and natural gas exploration and production company with a particularly significant presence in the Delaware Basin, part of the Permian region. Alongside hydrocarbon production, it owns and operates midstream infrastructure that supports its own operations and provides gas and oil gathering, processing and transportation services. This combination allows it to capture value not only from production but also from part of the infrastructure needed to bring that production to market.
